No end to this summer

Thought summer’s days might be numbered? You’re wrong – it’s actually Springtime. At least, it is if you’re ready to take advantage of a new luxury touring firm starting up on New Zealand’s South Island.

The island – made globally famous by the Lord of the Rings trilogy – boasts some of the most stunning scenery you’ll ever experience. Motorcycles New Zealand – based close to Christchurch International airport will hire you a quality bike to explore it on.

You can go it alone or hire kit (including lids and boots) join in an escorted tour and have accommodation arranged for you.

You can hire bikes ranging from a Yamaha XT600E to a BMW R1150RT. Prices start at NZ$1120 (about £430) for a week’s bike hire.
