Katana sells for £13,000

The ‘brand new boxed Katana’ featured in MCN Auctions has sold for £13,000.

The 1982 Suzuki GS1000 was discovered, still in its crate, in storage at a back-street dealer in the US and was put up for sale at DK Motorcycles in Newcastle Under Lyme.

Now it will have to be shipped back to the States. The winning bidder is US-based – which reveals when you want your special item to go global – motorcyclenews.com/auctions works.
