With KTM dominating the event you’d be silly not to consider one and this 2003 640 Adventure has only done 750 miles and is in pristine condition but can be yours for just £4995.

But if you want something a bit more meaty the 950 Adventure won the Dakar in 2002 and you could get this brand new 04 registered Gauloise replica for £7495 with zero miles on it.

Brit Mick Extance ran a Honda XR650 in the Dakar this year and you could get one of these serious road legal off roaders for £3999. This bike is a 2002 registered machine but has never been used.

Current second place man David Fretigne is riding a one of the smallest machines in the race, a Yamaha WR450F. You could get this 2004 bike for just £4899.

BMW off road instructor Simon Pavey is currently sitting in the middle of the pack on his F650GS. This 2004 Dakar replica GS is £5100 and has only done 2500 miles.

Or if you want something a bit cheaper this 2000 GS Dakar is only £3495 with 12,000 miles on it.
