Special Speedway meet

A one-off speedway event will take place on Sunday, March 19, 2006 to celebrate 20 years of racing by Sheffield Tigers star Sean Wilson.

The Sean Cracker Speedway takes place at Sheffield’s Owlerton Stadium and will feature top names including Jason Crump, Billy Hamill, Leigh Adams and Gary Havelock competing for a top prize of a new Suzuki GSX-R600.

Wilson has not only won three Premier League Riding Championships, multi Challenge Cup Crowns, and plenty of silverware at Sheffield Tigers captain, but is also famous for a miraculous return to speedway following a fractured neck which threatened his career.

The event starts at 5pm, with free entry for riders in a BSPA licence, a free DVD for the first 3000 people, and a raffle with a MiniX RC50X kid’s crosser up for grabs. Admission is £15 for adults, £8 for OAPs and £6 for children.
