Whether it's tweaked, tuned, or completely redesigned, we'll be picking the best examples to inspire and impress the readers of the UK's biggest bike site. Your specials: Bike 9. Terry Ward's 1966 Lambretta Sprint Scooter:
So far we've featured eight very special bikes, but this is our first scooter, and our first championship-winning racer.
This is a past Classic Bike 250cc Sprint champion, which can cover a 1/4 mile from a standing start in 13.75 seconds, with a top speed of 96mph. It has evolved over past seasons, but new parts for 2006 include carbon fibre clutch plates, a tougher gearbox and Varitronic with programmable black box.
