My rideout May 6, 2006

Had a great ride today. My mate, who also posts on the Forum occassionaly (makendes) came up from Blackpool on his R1 and the pair of us rode up to Kyle of Lochalsh. Route took us up to Tyndrum for a brew at the Green Welly then on via Glencoe to Fort William and up the A82 and on to the A87 by Loch Garry to Dornie Castle and the Kyle of Lochalsh.

The roads were amazing and the scenery simply stunning, riding doesn’t get any better than this! If you have never ridden these roads you have got to come and do it! Some of the bends on the A87 near Loch Garry just seem to go round and round for ever!  Was out for 8 hours, covered over 350 miles of fantastic roads, no sign of the police, managed to avoid the rain ………arrived home knackered …….. with a huge grin on my face. It’s days like this that make you realise what life is all about.
