Richard Hammond is in full flow as he prepares to share with MCN readers what he has been through over recent weeks.

As a teaser for you all, he wanted to give you a glimpse of what to expect in his first MCN column since the accident.

“Well that went well. Sorry for skiving off in recent weeks, took a bit of a bang on the head. All I can say is that I’m absolutely delighted to be back. Of course, I can’t wait to be back properly and get on a bike again, but I have to wait until the doctors agree that I’m safe to do so and return my licence. I haven’t the heart to tell them that actually I was always a pretty ropey rider even before my recent shunt rearranged my grey matter…”
