Cops on minibikes

The combination of police and minibikes usually revolves around teenagers being served with ASBOs – but this is Durham police’s own fleet of fully-liveried minimotos!

The force has created the BikeWise Minibike Club to try and cut down on the number of minimotos being ridden illegally on the road or on public land. Sgt Bob Brown said: “We’ve had so much help from Durham County Council to help us set this up – it’s really going to help cut down on the anti-social elements associated with minimotos.”
