Falling. In love with France

Similar to the first time European tourer above, I too went to tour abroad. The original plan was to aim for Annecy then make up a long return route back. The weather forecast indicated that this would not be such a good idea… so I aimed for Poitier.

The weather was not too good this way. With my lack of experience and the elements conspiring against me, I managed to part company from the bike on the second day. I got a puncture on the third day. Thanks to Spirit of Bike in Auxerre for sorting out the puncture, and for replacing an indicator bulb.

Luckily, for the rest of the week, the weather improved and I enjoyed the remainder of my time in France. The 1998 VFR800 was ideal for me. I can’t wait to go back (and see if I can stay on the bike this time).
