Outrage over 176mph speeding rider

A motorcyclist has made national news by posting footage himself speeding at 176mph in the wet on the internet.

The rider is one of two shown on an accident blackspot on the A628 in South Yorkshire known as Woodhead Pass.

He first follows behind the second rider at speeds of up to 130mph through traffic, then races past to reach over 170mph.

The footage was posted at www.LiveLeak.com.

At the time of writing, South Yorkshire Police had declined to comment.
