H-D Cafe Racer: Beast of the East!

1 of 4

I loved the Hogbitz H-D cafe racer you featured a little while ago- here’s my Hot Rod Motorcycles version!

It’s a ’93 883cc Sportster bored out to 1200cc, with a Manx replics steel tank, exhaust system, seat unit, clip ons hand made in Bangkok and Yoshi rear sets. It’s an absolute beast!

We made a nifty bracket on the swingarm, which allowed us to use stock Sportster shocks and lift the seat unit a lot higher….. looks good, I think! Also I like that we were able to keep a nice rake angle on the springs, rather than the traditional cafe racer look which usually has the springs in a damn near vertical position. She kicks out 57bhp, which is good for 200kph!

I own a biker friendly cafe in Jomtien Beach, Thailand, and also pilot an Ultra for touring this incredibly beautiful country. It’s a bikers heaven….. come on over!
