Maxxis Presa Detour adventure sport tyre launched

Maxxis has just received the first samples of the new Presa Detour adventure sport tyre and will be displaying them for the remainder of the NEC show.

The tyres are claimed to give ‘excellent and responsive handling in both wet or dry, on or off road conditions’.

The tyres have large tread blocks in the centre for better high-speed stability according to Maxxis, and the large grooves are said to give excellent water dispersal on soaking wet roads. They’re also claimed to give a long wear life.

Fitments are available for BMW R1200GS models, Suzuki’s V-Strom and the Triumph Tiger 955i. Prices and availability are to be announced.
