Alpinestars is set to expand its 2008 range of products on September 1 2008 with the launch of several summer-style products.

MCN has a sneak preview of two of the products, the summer riding glove and the summer riding pants.

The GPX Glove is designed to keep hands cool on warm days, with perforated leather used on the fingers and palm to allow air to flow into the glove.

Other features include Alpinestar’s patented knuckle protection, reinforced padding on the thumb, and reinforced finger tops and sidewalls.

Four colour options are due to be offered: black; red; blue; and orange, with sizes ranging from S-3XL. The glove is due to retail for £77.95.

The firm’s Street Cargo Pants are designed to be all things to all riders, featuring abrasion resistant material, a removable thermal lining, and compartments for body armour in the legs.

The wrist and ankle areas feature adjustment straps to ensure a good fit, and deep pockets are included to help you keep your belongings safe.

Alpinestars has priced the Street Cargo Pants at £99.95, with sizes ranging from 29-40 inch waist. Colours available include black, and sand.
