Honda Cub series reaches 60 million units
The Honda Cub series was first introduced in Japan in 1958 with the Honda Super Cub C100 and since then the Honda Cub series has been used in 160 countries. August 2008 will see the 50th anniversary of the Honda Cub.
Since the introduction of the original model the design has remained virtually unchanged, with leg protectors and a low-floor backbone frame to make it easy to get on and off.
Despite looking the same the Honda Cub has received some changes throughout the years, the most notable been Japan's 2007 version being fitted with Honda's PGM-FI fuel injection system.
