New MCN 19 November: Hyde Harrier Bonnie is back!

1 of 1

In this week’s issue of MCN, we have details of the new Norman Hyde Bonneville-engined Hyde Harrier, take a test ride on the Ace Cafe Racer and reveal the tech secrets behind Aprilia’s V4 WSB bike.

Norman Hyde, a Triumph accessory specialist, has revived the Hyde Harrier and we have all the details as well as a biref history of the original bike. The reborn model marries a standard Bonneville 865cc lump with trick modern parts such as Ohlins suspension, AP Racing calipers and a Harris frame and swingarm. In Norman Hyde’s own words, “by mixing the heart of today’s Bonneville with up-to-date components, this bike is a modern representation of its sporting nature that many of us grew up with”.

Plus, MCN road tester Adam Child takes the lovingly crafted Ace Cafe Racer for a spin and we prove that key facts are wrong in Police Chief’s plan to ban bikes.
