Oxford release new alarmed disc lock

1 of 1

Oxford’s latest disc lock will emit a shrill 100 decibels to put off would-be bike thieves and alert owners to attack.

The lock body is solid enough to withstand attack, but compact enough to slip into its pouch and under most bike seats when not in use.

The 7mm locking pin fits through the holes on the brake discs of the majority of modern bikes and the lower portion is chamfered to make it easy to get on and off.

The two keys are replaceable – either through a network of locksmiths or via Oxford direct.

If in constant use, the batteries will need changing no more often than every six months – replacements are inexpensive and easy to fit.

The lock can also be secured WITHOUT the alarm being activated, if necessary (e.g. for storage or during transportation).

The RRP is £29.99 and more information or the whereabouts of your local dealer can be obtained from www.oxprod.com or 01993 862 300.
