Upgraded siren and battery for XENA Lock

1 of 2

XENA have enhanced their high-performance XX14 disc lock alarm by fitting a lithium CR2 long-life ‘coin’ type battery as standard.

Small lithium batteries are can easily support the brief, heavy current demands of devices such as alarms and maintain a higher voltage for a longer period than traditional alkaline cells.

An additional benefit of the more powerful battery is that the volume of the alarm siren has been increased from 110db to 120db, which is apparently approximately equivalent to a jet engine or a rock concert!

The XX14 is self-arming, (i.e. it is armed/disarmed when the disc lock is locked/unlocked) and re-sets automatically to armed mode within 15 seconds.

Shock and motion sensors trigger the anti-theft alarm, which is powered by the single Lithium battery.

The lock body has a high nickel-content stainless-steel mono-block construction and is secured with a 14mm double-locking, carbide-reinforced hardened-steel locking pin.

It is tested and approved by leading organisations in the UK and overseas, including Thatcham, providing further reassurance of its security credentials.

The XENA XX14 is supplied with three high-security flat type keys and retails for £65- inc. VAT.
