Burglar stopped with Arai RX-7 Corsair

1 of 1

According to the latest Arai newsletter, a member of the public successfully apprehended a burglar in his own home using his Colin Edwards replica Arai.

The release states that the Arai owner’s wife was first struck by the criminal when she headed downstairs when she heard movement in the couples home in the early hours.

But, grabbing the first thing to hand, the husband who was following close behind whaled in on the intruder with his RX-7 Corsair, breaking the burglar’s hand.

The intruder was restrained until the police could arrive and is serving a five and a half year sentence for burglary and assault,

The man, left unnamed for legal reasons, was treated to a new Haga replica RX-7 GP by his wife.

Unfortunately, cracking a criminal over the head repeatedly won’t be added to the SHARP testing exercise.
