Video: The 150mph R1-riding gecko

Here’s one reptile taking a ride on the wild side – a tiny gecko stowed away on a Yamaha R1 as it laps a circuit at up to 150mph!

The tiny creature manages to cling on and clamber around the clocks, screen and fairing of the R1 as the rider laps Queenland Raceway in Australia.

The critter appears about two minutes in to the video – unless you want to see examples of someone missing apexes, we’d recommend skipping to the gecko’s appearance.

Maybe the gecko could give the rider some tips….
