Alpinestars 365 Gore-Tex leather two-piece now available

If you ride all year round, you could do worse than investing in these 365 Gore-Tex leather jacket and trousers from Alpinestars. You’ll need deep pockets, mind. At £950 for the jacket and £850 for the trousers, Gore-Tex’s leather technology doesn’t come cheap, but if its claims of 100% waterproofing and breathability are withheld then maybe it is worth the price of two suits.

The jacket is made from abrasion resistant Gore Pro Shell leather, perforated leather Gore panels and Gore stretch materials constructed to maximize Gore-Tex membrane performance. There are also inner forearm and rear shoulder stretch panels and outer shell seams. There’s a double-zipped closure with neoprene storm flap.

There’s a removeable thermal lining with two internal pockets, as well as a fixed multi mesh liner with built-in stretch panels. On the outside, there are two waterproof external pockets and a connecting zip for Alpinestars trousers.

There’s also CE-approved armour at the elbows and shoulders, and pockets for chest and back protectors. The 365 Gore-Tex jacket is only available in black, and in Euro sizes 48-60.

The trousers feature similar construction and stretch panels to the jacket, including a claimed 100% waterproof zip. There’s also a removable quilted upper thigh warmer, fixed mesh liner, waterproof zips at the ankles, and a reinforced leather panel at the seat. The 365 Gore-Tex trousers feature CE-approved soft knee protection and hip armour. Like the jacket, these trousers are only available in black, and in Euro sizes 48-60.
