New Alpinestars waterproof leathers

Alpinestars has exclusively revealed details of its 2010 range to MCN, and it’s headed up by waterproof kit made from leather.

Using Gore-Tex’s Pro Shell leather – effectively a normal leather construction incorporating a waterproof membrane within the leather – the 365 Gore-Tex jacket and trousers could eliminate the need to buy separate summer and winter kit. The firm’s 365 Gore-Tex gloves, released last year, are already a firm favourite with MCN staff.
