At last, some good news – Shoei has just reduced the price of all their helmets by a minimum of 10%, with the range topping X-Spirit now £60 cheaper.
Shoei’s UK distributor, Feridax, was forced by the poor performance of the pound against the Yen to increase the prices of almost all of its helmets just two months ago.
But with the pound now recovering, the X-Spirit (which rose £110 to £590 in March) has now been dropped to £530.
The XR1000 (voted best for comfort by readers in our MCN Biking Britain survey) has followed suit too after rising to £415 from £330. Feridax has lowered its retail price to £376.
