Datatag launch stealth tracking system

1 of 1

Datatool has been appointed the exclusive aftermarket distributor for the new Datatag motorcycle tagging kit, now with the all new “stealth” UV reactive etching.

The new Datatag motorcycle tagging kit offers dealers great profit margins with a RRP of £89.99.

The products are supplied with in-store POS marketing kit and offer further revenue opportunities as a dealer fit option.

The Datatag systems are the most sophisticated on the market.

They permanently mark and protect the Motorcycle in such a way that it is virtually impossible to remove or deface.

The state of the art identification technology, including the new unique UV etchings and invisible Datatag Forensic DNA, are registered against the details of the correct keeper of the motorcycle and this important information is stored on Datatag’s 24/7 Home Office and ACPO Police secure and accredited database.

The new motorcycle etching system is now virtually invisible to the naked eye.

The new covert etchings can only been seen under UV light, and so do not spoil the aesthetics of the motorcycle’s bodywork.

Datatag has also introduced a new warning label – a discreet domed resin badge that is more in keeping with today’s motorcycles.

The all new tagging system continues with a further layer of security in Datatag’s Datadots with the addition of a new forensic chemical DNA called Datatag DNA, an invisible solution within the adhesive of the Datadots.

A criminal would now have to remove every last molecule of Datatag DNA to be completely confident that the motorcycle or parts of the machine could not be traced back to the true registered keeper.

Steve Willey National Sales Manager for Datatool, comments: “We are delighted that we have been appointed the exclusive aftermarket distributor for Datatag’s new motorcycle tagging kit.

“Their products are well known and respected and give dealers excellent profit opportunities. The latest etching product will quickly become the marking product of choice amongst motorcyclists because of its discreet yet secure features.”

Chris Harrison the Sales Manager for Datatag commented: “We are pleased to be working with Datatool with the launch of our all New Motorcycle System.

“Whilst Datatag will still work with companies such as YMUK we look forward to developing the business further with Datatool’s experienced specialist security sales team.”

The Datatag system has received Home Office and ACPO accreditation under the Secured by Design scheme and complies with several other quality accreditations including ISO and LPS (Loss Protection Standards) for their secure database. The Datatag technologies have also been approved by Thatcham under their strict new TQA Scheme.
