Ventura give Monster 696 touring wings

Published: 19 March 2009

Luggage experts Ventura has put their knowledgeable minds to developing a touring kit for the middleweight Ducati Monster 696.

Ventura has tired not to mess around too much with the weight distribution of the bike by lumbering luggage packs all over the 80bhp twin, and instead has located  the luggage behind the rider for greater manoeuvrability at low speeds.

The system fits easily – it links onto to L-brackets that bolt onto existing mounting points on the subframe of the 696.

When you opt to carry luggage just slot the bike pack of your choice onto the rack.

The system pictured includes the L-brackets (£97.75), the Pack-Rack (£46.24) and a 51 litre Spada Pack (£99.20).

If you’re not carrying luggage, the Pack-Rack can be replaced with a Grab Handle for £19.99 or a Sport Rack which retails at £40.73.
