Roland Sands Fireblade worth '$1 million'

In a new on-line interview Roland Sands claims the stunning 2008 Honda Fireblade special, built for charity, is worth $1 million.

Sand’s made the claim in a video released to promote the bike, which is being raffled for an American children’s cancer charity.

He talks viewers through the bike’s one off parts, including new RSD Mission wheels, Vortex brake levers and a Hot Bodies under tail section, Performance Machine radial mounted front brake calipers and Spiegler brake.

“This is something I wish was in my garage,” he said as he tried to encourage people to buy raffle tickets for the machine, which took two months to create.

This is the second time Sands has customized a bike for the charity, Ride for Kids for Paediatric Brian Tumour Foundation.

The first bike, ConquerRR raised £56,000.

The total for this year already stands at $61,000 (£43,000) and there is still a month to go before the closing date of April 30.

Raffle tickets cost $5 (£3.50) and are available here
