Metzeler Tyres has launched MetzelerMaps, a new web application which allows riders to search for the best routes or upload their own, as well as sharing them with other bikers.

This new technology lets bikers check out exciting riding routes, both for UK rides or when on ‘tour’ or holiday abroad.

Riders can create a profile, save trips, maps, videos and photos and share these with other users who will be able to submit their own comments, reviews and suggestions. Simply type www.metzelermaps.com

MetzelerMaps offers the chance for all bike enthusiasts to search for new trips by location, type of trip, distance, kind of bike or through the use of key words.

You may be as specific as you want, for example you can just search for trips in the mountains, or trips which last for just one day, or ones that have been done with the same bike as your own.

After you have found the trip you like you can simply upload it onto your smartphone or GPS system and go for it!

You can upload the trip you have ridden and recorded with your mobile phone straight from it or simply by drawing it on the map after you have come back home.

Or even before you go, in order to plan the trip and share it with others who will be able to see it or download it on their GPS unit or mobile phones.

MetzelerMaps represents the most advanced platform dedicated for motorcyclists, its usage is free and easy, and has no specific browser requirements.
