Pink Floyd star rides Bandit 650S

Pink Floyd drummer and multi-millionaire Nick Mason has been commuting on a £5724 Suzuki Bandit 650S this summer.

Mason, known for his multi-million pound car collection, has always owned bikes, including an old Honda VF500E with a vile custom pink paint job and a classic MV Agusta 850SS.

Mason said: “I’ve had many bikes over the years including some big adventure models, but for beating London congestion the Bandit’s proved to be perfect.

“It’s agile enough to cut through traffic and has more than enough power when you leave town. With its fairing offering added weather protection, it’s been great when the weather hasn’t too.”

The Bandit 650 comes in standard and faired versions with features such as ABS and a power socket for a SAT NAV or phone charging.

The Bandit range starts at £5,724 with a free restriction kit for learners and fully comp insurance for £99 if you pass your test through a Suzuki approved training scheme before September 30th.
