Cumbria Police hunt £15K Harley

Police in Cumbria are investigating the theft of a vintage 1949 Harley-Davidson Model U valued at £15,000.
 
The blue bike, similar to the one above, was stolen during the Barbon Hill Climb, at Barbon Low Fells, Hoggs Hill, Barbon near Sedbergh in Cumbria on Saturday, between 12:30pm and 4pm.

It was secured with a large chain and padlock close to the portable toilets that were set up for the event.
 
The police are asking that anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or who knows the whereabouts of this motorcycle, should contact PC Claire Slater at Milnthorpe Police Station on 0845 33 00 247, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
