RC51 White Repsol 40th Aniversary

Who – British expat living in Calgary Canada. What – 2001 RVT(VTR) 1000R RC51 SP1 I bought the bike tree years ago with usual RC 51 Mods ie K&N’s, Yoshimura slipons, power commander II and rode it for 1 year and loved it.

Last year I had a 60 mph encounter with a 3yr old deer, I know it was three years old by the antler puncture marks in the upper fairing! just below my chest, rebuilt all the plastics and such and rode it for another 6 months and came across an artical about the Repsol 40th Aniversary paint scheme used at Valencia in 2008, and loved it.

So I pulled the plug and picked up a kit out of China as well as a spare tank and Yoshimura high mout mid’s did the conversion results as per photo.

I didn’t like the orange Repsol but this suits the bike no end, and is the only known white RC51 Repsol in Canada/USA She sounds as good as she looks
