Mirror columnist Paul Routledge is a 'knob'

A Facebook group branding anti-bike Daily Mirror Columnist Paul Routledge a ‘knob’ has gained hundreds of members within hours of being set up.

Routledge claimed in a recent column: ‘Far too many bikers are middle-aged (and older) men pretending they are cool kids.  

‘It would be pathetic if it weren’t so lethal – not just for themselves but for the public. Why don’t they just grow up and realise that the roar of a 600cc bike is the whisper of death?’

The Facebook group, called ‘Daily Mirror columnist Paul Routledge is a knob’, quotes this and other of Routledge’s claims on bikers.

The columnist as yet has not responded to MCN’s request for a comment.
