Nothing can interfere with new Acumen alarm

1 of 1

Acumen’s next generation alarm, the Tempest Cat 1, features a receiver that reduces transmitter interference from unwanted radio waves, like mobile phone masts.

Tested and approved to Thatcham Category 1, the Tempest Cat 1 comes with a new compact fob as well as the popular flip-key version and has an automatic power-saving mode too, making it ideal for motorcycles that are unused for long periods of time.

You can also use the fob to programme the alarm, choosing from 14 siren tones, and to activate the Tempest’s optional turn signal reminder.

The new alarm has three sirens – the main siren is reinforced with two back-up sirens that are located behind a metal plate and powered by a separate driver circuit for added security.

It’s covered by a three-year warranty, and costs £329.99 including professional fitting.
