Bigger version of GS750 quickly became popular benchmark for class.
We say: This chopped, customised version won’t be to everyone’s taste, however.

‘X’ designated new four-valve heads, more power and chunky.
We say: 1100 version (like Gary’s) grabbed all the plaudits, but this is cheap and characterful.

Red was definitive paintscheme. Sadly this one’s tank is a DIY respray.
