Work for MCN!

1 of 2

MCN has a vacancy for a full-time sub-editor to work on our production desk. This is a rare opportunity to join the world’s biggest motorcycle publication, with all the benefits you would expect.

Applicants must be trained journalists with a minimum of two years experience, ideally with at least one years’ experience working as a sub-editor on a weekly or daily news publication.

This is not a job for beginners or the faint-hearted. You’ll be working in a busy production team, often subbing pages not just for the paper but also for MCN’s increasing range of supplements and bookazines.

If you do not thrive under pressure and enjoy the adrenalin of press day, this might not be the job for you.

There are perks aplenty for anyone into bikes. Besides the subject matter and office conversation being motorcycle-based, you will also have the opportunity to ride test bikes once your riding has been assessed.

Motorcycle knowledge is not essential, but would be an advantage.
