New voice-operated satnav has no screen!

1 of 1

The Kapten Rider is a new voice-driven motorcycle satnav. The makers claim of the screenless device that it’s discreet and small enough to fit in your pocket, and that it responds to a vocabulary of more than 50 commands.

Obviously, there is no need to fit it to your bike, meaning there’s no fear of having it half-inched at petrol stations. The system is suitable for open- and full-face helmets.

It comes with a full UK & Northern Ireland map, slim-line helmet speakers and boom microphone, spare set of earphones/microphone for use when not wearing your helmet and USB cable used for recharging the long life battery.

Maps of other countries are available for download from www.kapsys.com. The Kapten Rider costs £199.95.
