Best of bikemart: Modern classics up for grabs this week

1 of 7

We've been browsing MCN bikes for sale every day to bring you some of our top picks from over 10,000 motorcycles for sale.

Here's just a few of the fantastic modern classic machines available this week:

Honda CB250RS

1981 Honda CB250RS -
XL250 single-powered roadster was nimble, useful and a surprise early ‘80s hit.
We say: Still cute, easy to fettle and cheap so good starter classic material.

Kawasaki Z900

1976 Kawasaki Z900 -

Later version of original Z1 is one of the definitive ‘70s Japanese superbikes.
We say: Lacks cache (and price) of Z1, plus non-original pipe, but decent overall.

Honda Fireblade

1994 Honda CBR900RR FireBlade -

First generation Blade now rightly regarded as a classic and appreciating.
We say: Right model, right colours, original pipe and tempting price.

Honda CBX750

1987 Honda CBX750 -

Grey import mix of CBX750 running gear and VF1000F Bol d’Or bodywork.
We say: Original nick, rare, usable and cheap – but more oddball than classic.

Moto Guzzi Spada 1000

1986 Moto Guzzi Spada 1000 -

Agricultural, old school Guzzi V-twin tourer. Ugly and clunky but with some charm.
We say: Throw the touring stuff away and make a café racer out of it.

Suzuki GSX750

1980 Suzuki GSX750 -

Classic late ‘70s four was smaller brother to iconic GSX1100
We say: Restored and immaculate so tempting (non-original pipe apart).
