This year’s MCNLive ranks as one of the most memorable MCNLive’s ever, once again living up to its reputation as the ultimate biker weekend, and you can save on next year’s event by booking now.

Over 18 live bands rocked the nights away including Wishbone Ash and multimillion-selling rockers, The Quireboys. James Toseland made a heroic appearance on Saturday night with his band Crash, despite having suffered a broken wrist during practice for this year’s WSB season.

The daytime entertainment was no less impressive with The Bolddog Lings FMX and Freestyle team, Steve ‘Showtime’ Colley trials show, and the Amazing Wall of Death.

The interactive zones gave show-goers the chance to race minimotos for free with MCN’s free Minimoto Challenge and trials riding with the Mike Extance off Road Experience.

New for Saturday night was the first official MCN Fancy Dress Competition with contestants working their imagination to the full to win a silver self-catering apartment for the 2012 event.

Congratulations to the winner of the individual category, Andrew Lumley, and his breathtaking resemblance to Cheryl Cole, and also to the group winners who looked dapper as 1920’s American gangsters and mobsters. Commiserations to the group dressed as the characters from Toy Story whose certain victory was snatched away when they missed the judging due to Mr Potatohead being unable to walk fast enough.
