1998 Honda Hornet street racer

This started life as a standard 1998 Honda Hornet and I transformed it over a couple of years.

The modifications include:

Kawasaki ZX-10R front end, Kawasaki Z750 rear wheel, Ohlins shock, Yamaha R1 swingarm bracing was welded to the original Hornet swingarm, a carbon seat unit from a Honda Fireblade.

I made the the subframe after cutting the rear off the frame, the rear lights are on the underside of the hugger to keep the seat clean. I used a bellypan from the Hornet Cup series, and an old Givi screen was chopped about to give it a screen.

I finished it of in my interpretation of the Castrol colours from 1998. I’ve managed to lose 25kg of weight and it’s now 178kg wet.
