Brotherhood of bikers!

I want to thank a true biker who showed the real brotherhood of biking. I had just filled my Suzuki to the brim with petrol and pulled out of the station. When I turned right, the steering felt really stiff. At first I thought the steering damper had snagged.

A few hundred yards later, the smell of petrol was overwhelming. I glanced down thinking I had left the cap open only to see petrol pouring out of a hole at the front of the tank.

What had happened was my key ring had got wedged between the head-stock and the petrol tank puncturing the tank.

Thanks to Ivan, who works at RAF Odiham, who stopped and gave it his all to make sure I could at least make it home, which I did thanks to him and my good mate Paul.

Bikers are the salt of the earth – thanks Ivan!
