Vince Jaques is riding a 200cc Honda Benly which he has just restored from Teesside to Bulgaria for the charities Zoe’s Place in Middlesbrough and Priateli in Bulgaria.

Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice provides respite and palliative care for babies and children from birth to 5 years old who have life limiting or life threatening conditions.

Priateli-Veliko Tarnovo Foundation’s supports disadvantaged people in the Veliko Tarnovo area of Bulgaria which is one of the newest members of the EU and very definitely the poorest.

The journey is over 2,700km and will take one week, travelling through Belgium, France, Italy (Ancona) and Greece (Igoumenitsa) before arriving in Bulgaria.

The route will avoid busy roads due to the age of the motorbike. The following article appeared in local newspaper Evening Gazette http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/2013/03/05/teesside-motorcycle-fan-biking-to-bulgaria-to-help-children-at-each-end-84229-32925137/
