Video: Steve Parrish Rides Silverstone

The Bike Insurer have released a short video of ex GP rider Steve Parrish giving an insight into what its like to tackle Silverstone from a riders perspective. With a new Yamaha R1, Parrish takes to the iconic circuit offering the viewer a perspective not often seen as he describes the track, the emotions and the nerves.

 “You’ve got your ear plugs in, you’ve got your helmet on; once the lights go out, all the best made plans go out the window and what will be will be.”

Parrish comments “I’ve always loved Silverstone, it just has so many very interesting corners and they’ve done a great job on the new track. It’s changed a lot over the years and they’ve made some great places for overtaking, so it always produces some terrific races with some fabulous opportunities for passing.”

With the Moto GP coming to the circuit next week and the title still wide open, Silverstone is looking set to be an absolute cracker.
