A year ago today

It was only a year ago that we were at the top Gear test track, riding the Brammo Empulse R electric motorcycle for the first time in the UK.

“The Brammo is a fun, involving, bike to throw into corners and it has excellent acceleration”

Since then, Top Gear has changed dramatically. Newly-announced host Chris Evans has promised to have more bikes on the show and Brammo have been bought by Polaris – which hints at electrically driven machines from Victory and Indian in the very near future.

There will be more motorbikes on the new Top Gear. Do you think we should go to The TT ?

We’ve also had the introduction of the Harley LiveWire project within this time as well of course. And despite this being announced as still ‘a couple of years’ away before a real, ‘product’ launch, it’s an undeniable fact that electric motorcycles are on the immediate horizon.

A lot can happen within a year…

But what will be looking back at in another 365 days’ time?
