MRS unveil stunning Vulcan 'Spirit Charger'

While many of us Brits are charging headlong to the NEC for our annual dose of Motorcycle Live, our cousins across the Channel have their own two-wheeled soiree to enjoy this week, the Paris Motorcycle Show

One of the cutest bikes that will be unveiled there when the show opens tomorrow morning is this lovely cafe racer by Parisienne custom house Oficina MRS. Unbelieveably, the bike started life as Kawasaki’s Vulcan S, a budget custom cruiser, which has been stripped to its bare essentials before getting a reworking that looks to have been inspired by Kawasaki’s SC-01 Spirit Charger concept sketches.

The bike was finished by Mario at MRS just hours before arriving on the Kawasaki stand, and is likely to get further tweaks once the show closes, but it’s meant to be a bare and functional motorcycle and fits neatly with many of MRS’ other cafe racer creations.

While this isn’t an official Kawasaki project, could this be a hint of things to come from Kawasaki? Watch this space.
