Ducati Scrambler Italia Independent revealed

1 of 2

Ducati have added a special edition to the ever-expanding Scrambler range in the shape of this new Italia Independent model, which will be available in the UK in Spring at a fairly fruity £9377.

The new model has come about as a result of a link-up between Ducati and fashion house Italia Independent and while the mechanical parts of the bike remain largely untouched, the overall style of the bike looks substantially different to the standard Scrambler model on which it’s based. That means the 803cc, air-cooled 75bhp V-twin stays in place, but each bike gets a laser-engraved aluminium plate with the serial number, Italia Independent side panels, and copper-coloured frame and wheels.

Other unique features of the Italia Independent include the black engine with machined cylinder head fins and other details, a Termignoni exhaust with black pipes and silencer covers, low tapered handlebars, and aluminium mirrors. The bike also gets a café racer-style nose fairing and embroidered logos on the back of the bike.
