What: BMW dealership’s annual open weekend plays host to Steve Parrish’s evening of entertainment

Already renowned for their amazing annual open weekend, Douglas Park BMW are delighted to announce that it’s back and bigger than ever. The East Kilbride showroom will be opening its doors on July 30 and 31 for a weekend of demo rides, celebrity guests, special offers and more, as well as a very special showing of Steve Parrish’s hilarious live event on Saturday evening.



Stavros won’t be alone, because hosting this special event will be yet more big-name stars from the world of motorcycle racing. Douglas Park are proud to welcome three-times British Superbike champion Niall Mackenzie and his racing sons Taylor and Tarran, as well as twice British champion-turned commentator James Whitham.

Besides showcasing BMW Motorrad’s fantastic range of supersport, adventure, touring and roadster models, Park’s showroom will be displaying 12 newly designed customs, created in collaboration between the dealership and paint specialists, 8 Ball.

There will also be numerous special motorcycles on display to show the heritage of BMW, available to view in the showroom for one weekend only. The police and fire service will also be on hand to educate on road safety and first-on-scene knowledge. 

Want to learn from the best with a masterclass on tyres and suspension?  Or simply enjoy the talk shows, photo opportunities and autograph sessions with the special guest stars, or the MCN girls? It’s set to be one of the dealership’s best summer shows yet! With face painting, a fantastic BBQ and Douglas Park’s amazing team and customers, it’s not an event to miss.

The weekend kicks off at 9am on Saturday and finishes 5pm Sunday. Anybody who would like to demo a BMW will have to over 25 years old and carry a full motorcycle licence. Other Ts&Cs apply.
