MCN's 10-minute workshop tips: Removing fork reflectors

If you’re lucky enough to have bought a new bike recently you’ll have noticed it came with some horrible Euro4 compliant reflectors stuck on the forks.

On a bike like Triumph’s beautifully styled Street Twin they stick out like carbuncles. You might be tempted to lever them off with a screwdriver but here’s an alternative method that’s not only quick but also strangely satisfying…

Other solvents and specialist cleaners will disolve the glue but we’ve picked Acetone as most people will already have it in the house as nail varnish remover.
