MCN gearing up for Victory Octane launch

1 of 1

MCN is getting ready for the launch of Victory’s latest addition to its performance cruiser rang – the new Octane which we’ll be testing near Daytona Beach, Florida later this week.

The Octane is the most powerful Victory yet. Inspired by the Project 156 machine which competed at Pikes Peak it’s actually derived from Indian Scout mechanicals and uses a 1179cc liquid-cooled engine that’s closely related to Scout’s 1133cc unit and puts out a claimed 104bhp. As such, despite the power, the Octane is also the most ‘middleweight’ and entry-level Victory cruiser so far built.

We’ll be reporting back with our first impressions of how it measures up.
