Video: Yamaha R1M vs F1 car

Is a motorcycle faster than a car? It’s the age old question that car and bike enthusiasts around the world have been asking for decades, and no head-to-heads ever seem to provide a satisfactory answer for either camp.

At the recent Barbados Festival of Speed Lewis Hamilton took to the track in one of his F1 cars for a bit of friendly competition against a Yamaha R1M ridden by BSB rider Stuart Easton.

It’s certainly not a serious competition, but the high-pitched whine of the F1 car and the MotoGP-esque noise coming from the Yamaha sound excellent together.
