Classic Bike Live revs into action this weekend to celebrate the legends of classic motorcycling. With the chance to meet racers and their winning machines, browse indoor trade and jumble stands, meet the UK’s top clubs, hear glorious classics fired-up in the paddock, listen in awe to celebs on stage and much, much more – you can count on us for a top class day out.

JOHN MCGUINNESS…

Get up close and personal with TT legend John McGuinness and a collection of his race machines including his Vimto Honda TSR250, his demon Vimto Honda SP1 (courtesy of Mick West Racing), his 2004 Yamaha R1 and R6 plus a load of memorabilia that’s well worth seeing.

…AND GRANT

Gritty Yorkshireman Mick Grant will be in attendance with his fiery Kawasaki KR750 which he’s owned since he raced it in 1977. You can catch him on stage to hear all about the glory years and his exploits at the 1981 TT, plus hear first-hand about his fierce rivalry with Barry Sheene in the ’70s.

SEE THE BIKES THAT MADE SHEENE A STAR

In celebration of Barry Sheene’s 40th anniversary of his first world championship, we will be showcasing a collection of his race bikes, including his Seeley TR500 and T500 Hi-Tac which he raced in his early career, alongside his 1979 XR27 and 1984 XR45 from his final year of racing.

HUNDREDS OF BIKES

There will be hundreds of rare and unique machines to salivate over; from classics to retro, English to Japanese. With machines from the Ace Cafe, National Motorcycle Museum, Mike West Racing Dick Shepherd and more, it is a classic bike lovers paradise.

MEET THE STARS OF ‘SHED & BURIED’

For all the shed heads out there, get top advice from bike experts Henry Cole and Sam Lovegrove (Sunday only) from TV’s Shed and Buried. Plus Fred Clarke and Classic Bike’s Rick Parkington talk ‘Ricks Fixes’ with a selection of oily-rag restorations.

MEET THE UK’S TOP CLUBS

An array of quality bikes will be on display from many of the UK’s top clubs, including the VMCC, VJMC, Ducati Owners Club, the Royal Enfield Owners Club, the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club, the National Sprint Association and many more.

AUTOJUMBLE & FIRE-UP PADDOCK

Hear some of the world’s legendary racing machines as they are fired up in the paddock. And if you’re still looking for that elusive part for your resto, have a rummage in our massive autojumble or bag a bargain from one of our trade stands.

Advance tickets are just £9 for adults (available until 9pm Friday) or £12 on the day. Kids aged 15 and under go free and parking is free of charge – we’ll see you there.
