Despite Kushitani’s long history, they’ve only had an official factory-affiliated retailer in the UK since 2014. The store is located on Chain Bridge Road, Boston.

Who are Kushitani?

Kushitani are the oldest motorcycle clothing brand from Japan. They started creating small leather products in 1947, before moving onto motorcycle products in 1953 after requests from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki riders. It wasn’t until 1968 that they started selling their motorcycle products commercially.

Kushitani were arguably at their height in the late ’80s and early ’90s, with legendary racers like Aaron Slight, Wayne Gardner and Randy Mamola all wearing the Japanese brand.
