Video: Motorcyclists are nice, too

Motorcyclists sometimes get a bad reputation. Maybe it’s because some of us ride loud bikes, or maybe people just can’t shake the old badass motorcyclist stereotype. Whatever it is, it doesn’t apply to a vast majority of bikers, and several motovloggers are trying their best to rid us of that reputation.

TOP STORIES

Video surfaced this week showing a motorcyclists helping out a car driver who had left their passenger side mirror folding in, although the rider did have to undertake on the hard shoulder to accomplish this.

But this isn’t the only example of bikers helping members of the public. There are plenty of videos online showing random acts of help and kindness from bikers around the globe.

YouTube motovlogger Two Wheels Online seems to find himself in the right place at the right time. First he tried to help out a woman stricken at the side of the road with a broken down car:

Then less than a month later he stepped up and helped another broken down motorist push his car to the side of the motorway when nobody else would:

Closer to home MR. ViLAN stopped filtering and actually paddled backwards to close a woman’s fuel cap, before continuing with his journey:

Back across the other side of the pond, Bossaucey spotted something odd on the rear bumper of the car in front, which turned out to be a coffee mug. Not one to let something likk that go ignore he managed to grab the coffee mug and hand it to the driver, all without stopping:

Heff520 is another motorcyclist who steps up when other motorists don’t. He filtered to the front of a queue of traffic, and upon realising the reason for the traffic was a broken car, hopped off his bike and helped push the car to the side of the road. Good job:
